Metal Forming

Advanced stamping, hydroforming and roll-forming for lightweight, high-strength body and chassis structures.

Metal forming is at the heart of body-in-white construction. We stamp advanced high-strength steel (AHSS), press-hardened steel and aluminum sheet for structural rails, pillars, cross-members and closure inner panels.

Hydroforming lets us produce tubular structural members with variable cross-section — ideal for space-frame architectures and chassis rails where torsional stiffness and packaging matter. Roll-forming produces long, straight sections such as battery-enclosure rails at very high throughput.

Multi-material joining is now the norm: aluminum-to-steel, aluminum-to-aluminum and mixed-material assemblies joined by self-piercing rivets, flow-drill screws, structural adhesives and friction-stir or laser welding. Our engineering team owns joint design as part of the sub-system, not as an afterthought.

Forming simulation, in-die sensors and closed-loop press control keep dimensional variation tight across the run — essential for downstream automated assembly.
