Data Systems & Solutions is the digital backbone of the Structures Group. Every press, cell, CMM and torque gun in our plants reports into a common manufacturing execution system, giving us real-time visibility into production, quality and OEE across a global footprint.

Part-level traceability is standard: a serial number links a finished battery enclosure back to the specific casting heat, machining tool history, adhesive lot, torque profile and leak-test result that produced it. When a customer has a field question, we can answer it in minutes, not weeks.

Closed-loop quality — where in-line inspection data adjusts upstream process parameters automatically — is deployed on our newest structural casting and assembly lines, reducing scrap and stabilizing dimensional output.

The same data platform supports predictive maintenance, energy optimization and lifecycle carbon reporting — increasingly important as OEMs require product-level carbon data on structural parts.
