Linamar Structures Group is a key product division within the Linamar Corporation Mobility segment. We specialize in lightweight, safety-critical components and systems for the automotive and transportation industries — from body structures and chassis to complete EV battery enclosures.

Headquartered at 287 Speedvale Avenue West in Guelph, Ontario, our teams combine light metal casting, forging, precision machining, metal forming and automated assembly to deliver end-to-end structural solutions to global OEMs. Vertical integration is a deliberate choice: it lets us own the full value chain from raw material through validated, ship-ready sub-systems.

Founded in 1966 by Frank Hasenfratz as a single-machine shop, Linamar has grown into a global top-tier supplier with more than 36,000 employees across 19 countries. The Structures Group carries that same disciplined operating culture into the electrified mobility era — where every kilogram removed from a vehicle extends range, cuts emissions and improves total cost of ownership.

Our customers include the world's largest OEMs and Tier 1 systems integrators. We support them from early concept and simulation, through prototype and validation, into serial production and aftermarket — with regional plants and R&D centres positioned close to their engineering hubs and assembly lines.
