Students & Graduates

Co-op placements, internships and new-graduate programs across manufacturing, engineering and corporate functions.

Linamar hires hundreds of co-op students, interns and new graduates every year. We partner with leading Canadian and international engineering schools to bring students into real plant and engineering environments — not coffee-run internships.

Co-op placements typically run 4, 8 or 12 months and are paid. Students work on live programs alongside experienced engineers and operators, and many return as full-time hires after graduation.

New-graduate rotational programs give recent engineering graduates exposure to multiple functions (product engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, program management) before settling into a specialization.

Applications are managed through our careers portal and directly with participating university co-op offices.
